Party assault suspect in court

A Pinner man appeared in court today to face charges for his part in a fight which left a party-goer with serious head injuries.

Mark Last, of Wiltshire Lane, Pinner, pleaded not guilty at Harrow Crown Court to the charge of causing grievous bodily harm to a 39-year-old man at a party on June 22.

The 24-year-old had been at a house in Beatty Road, Stanmore, when the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning.

His trial is set to start on October 13.
