SCOUTS in Hatch End have been enjoying the long-awaited extension to their hut after it was opened by the mayor of Harrow.
Councillor Asad Omar did the honours after a 10-year fundraising effort by the 1st Hatch End scouts ended successfully with £60,000 spent on adding a first floor to the building in Leeway Close.
