THOUSANDS of people got into the Christmas spirit at this year's Pinner Panto.

More than 10,000 people visited the village on November 24 for mulled wine, carols and the Mayor of Harrow turning on the Christmas tree lights.

The Magic of a Thousand Strings will take place on November 26 at 7.30pm at the church to raise money for a new roof, repairing the tower and internal work.

FIRE crews were called to a fire on Rickmansworth Road, Pinner last Thursday evening.

Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters attended the fire at a bungalow just before 6pm.

bridgestalley.jpgTRADERS are concerned about potential disruption when flats are built on the site of a former garage in Pinner.

Harrow Council granted permission for the extension of an application for 26 homes earlier this year, and the new developers, Kanbi and Sons, demolished the garage last week.

THE report released by NHS Harrow which stated that the Pinn Medical Centre was coping well with demand has received criticism from patients and the council.

It was reviewed at a health and social care scrutiny sub-committee on October 24 but was not considered to be detailed enough by some members.

czech.jpgMUSICALLY gifted pupils have produced a selection of songs for children in the Czech Republic.

Children aged seven to 10 worked with music teacher Matthew Manchester and musician Beth Cooper, who works in the Czech Republic and wrote the 12 songs.
