Burglars flee as woman catches them in her house

A WOMAN caught two burglars in her home after she heard noises downstairs.

Two men fled from the property on Albury Drive, Pinner, just after 10pm on Tuesday April 17 when the 34-year-old woman came out of her bedroom and saw the burglars coming up the stairs.

The perpetrators are described as white and aged between 18 and 20.

One was wearing a grey jacket and the other a dark cap and they stole a small quantity of cash from a purse.

It is thought the suspects gained entry to the property by putting their hand or a tool through the letter box to release the door handle from the inside.
